Compete with your player identity
Other players see your username, character avatar and score. Subscribers can also view your stats and badges.
Safe by design.
Safeguarding is the architecture.
Rimnet is for players aged 16 and over. We protect your identity by design, not by moderation.
Safe by design.
We don't just track your shots. We protect your identity.
Rimnet is for players aged 16 and over — so safeguarding isn’t a feature. It’s the architecture.
No chat. No DMs.
Players compete through the game, not through conversation. There is no chat and no private messaging.
No prolonged screen time
The app sends you to the court. An average session is real basketball, not scrolling.
Off screen, by design
Our philosophy runs through every decision: the phone starts the session, the basketball court finishes it.
For parents
A note for parents.
Rimnet is for players aged 16 and over. Here's what you should know if your teenager plays.
- What is RIMNET?
- RIMNET is a basketball game, not a coaching app. Players use their phone’s camera to detect the ball and hoop and track made and missed shots on a real court, then compete through challenges, missions and leagues.
- What can other players see?
- Other players see your teenager’s username, character avatar and score. Subscribers to our paid plan can also see stats and badges. There is no chat and no private messaging of any kind. The only way to interact is through the game itself.
- How does the camera work?
- Images are processed on the phone. No videos or photos are stored.
- Is there an age rule?
- Rimnet is for players aged 16 and over.
- How do purchases work?
- All purchases go through the Apple App Store or Google Play. RIMNET never takes payment directly. You can restrict or monitor purchases using Screen Time (iOS) or Family Link (Android).
- Does RIMNET need an internet connection?
- Yes, an internet connection is required to play.
- How can we delete an account?
- An account can be deleted in the app at profile menu, or by contacting us.
- Who do we contact with questions?
- Email clutch@rimnet.ai and we’ll help directly.
